Green Fern Wedding Inspiration sources

Woodland themed weddings have been on the rave for the last decade and ferns have been enjoying steady love via that theme. Yet, their interesting shapes and textures seems to be part of a rising greenery trend which favors monochromatic green palettes. 

The brave brides embrace the greenery trend with open arms: you can skip flowers all together and choose a bridal bouquet made with just leaves and branches. Table decorations can be just green leaves in the middle of the table in beautiful vases.  

If monochromatic wedding palette is not your thing or you want to bring a dash of excitement to the ensemble copper and brass work really great with greens either as metallics or as plain colors. Time will tell if ferns are the one who overthrow the reigning queen of wedding greenery, eucalyptus. Burgundy and Blue Wedding Inspiration sources

Red and blue wedding color palette can sound weird, but when deep burgundy is combined with gentle dusty blue the end result is stunning!

Burgundy and blue wedding achieves it’s beauty via the contrast of two very different colors. This color scheme work equally well during the holiday season as in summer time. By changing the dominant color you can change the atmosphere from cool to warm. 

In our mind this color palette works best when the dusty blue is used as a background and the red is added into details. Deep red roses, dahlias, peonies or even tulips will give luxury air to flower arrangements. Don’t hesitate to use the colors plenty, in this inspiration board white is an afterthought.

Burgundy and blue wedding palette is a romantic one and a great choice for traditional and classic wedding look when you are not a fan of washed out styles. To keep everything stylish and modern prefer solid color surfaces over vector style curls and other similar patterns. Instead of computer generated patterns add painted floral surfaces similar to watercolors or oil paintings.

Minimalist Green and White Wedding Inspiration sources

Less can certainly be more and in this inspiration board it really is. Minimalist green and white wedding is all about large white surfaces, greenery and gentle grey that ties everything together.

One of the most interesting new flower trends are the monochromatic bouquets in all white. By combining fresh white flowers with bleached dried foliage like the white ruscus in the bridal bouquet above, the end product is modern all white look. 

Table decoration is built around elegant gold detailed tableware, white candles on white candle holders and few small flower arrangements. Everything is kept airy and cool. Use less elements, but choose them well and keep every glass or plate similar. Mix and match doesn’t work in this style particularly well. 

As there’s not much ornamentation in stationary, make sure that the few elements are stylish and beautiful: typografia, paper type etc. When embracing minimalist style one can’t hide the flaws into the abundance of elements, so every detail should be well thought and of high quality.

Dusty Blue And Yellow Wedding Inspiration sources

Blue and yellow wedding palette is a match made for spring and summer! This cheerful wedding color scheme brings smile to our faces and makes us think about May and June weddings. 

On the color wheel yellow and blue are situated almost opposite sides and that is why combination of them is very vibrant to the eye. To ease the ‘clash’ we opted for softer dusty blue and more gentle yellow so the end result is happy but not eye watering. 

You can play around the amount of colors: for more peaceful style use mainly the blue and add yellow in small amounts – by having plenty of yellow the feel of the wedding is more warm, energetic and sunny.

This color palette is easy to use in the flowers as either blue or yellow can be found in almost all type of blooms. Blue translates beautifully to most fabrics, stationary pieces and large surfaces like tableclothes. Yellow is more difficult color to produce beautifully by dyes so I would advice adding it via flowers or translucent materials like glassware and see through fabrics where it shines naturally with the help of the light.

Neutral Peach Wedding Inspiration sources

Another rising 2019-2020 wedding trend is neutral or almost neutral color palettes. They are soft, earthy colors that work well together and can basically be accented with any color. Traditionally neutral colors include whites, greys and blacks, but there’s also soft browns, nudes and powdery tones as well as gentle blues. 

Neutral peach wedding has been our inspiration for this days moodboard. We kept the palette fresh with ivory white and deepened the colors scheme with powdery nude color alongside the peach. You can widen the color palette by adding darker or lighter variation of the colors above. 

The stationary with it’s ripped edges and ornate flower arrangements give romance and rustic elegance to this style – you can equally well change the tone to more minimalistic by choosing clean lines with fewer details. It’s all up to you. Rattan and brass are good options to spice things up in table decor.
