I bet you have heard the saying “something blue” thousand times when it comes to weddings. People might be asking if You have found your blue detail already or if you need help with including it to your style.
We have a little secret with the blue.
Every time we finish a bridal gown we add a small blue detail to the dress. For a full hand embroidered gown we embroidered a small cornflower. Right now our thing is a small blue silk ribbon under the hem. We think that this kind of little things add a nice personal touch and also take away the pressure to find something blue.
Because let’s be honest. Most of the brides like this kind of traditions but might struggle to incorporate them to their style.

Sometimes the wedding cake can spark the inspiration for the whole wedding look and that is exactly what happened with this blue and gold four tier cake. Metallics are super trendy right now and the deep blue keeps the cake classy. The gold shades go perfectly together with the delicate gold linings on the glasses as well as with the gold colored tableware.
The delicate feel is carried to the stationary with flowy calligraphy and blue silk ribbons. Add lots of white flowers with greenery and you have a perfect palette for early spring weddings.
For the bridal looks we adore a pale blue flowy gown as well as a white beaded slip dress. A lovely little detail is a blue and white bridal garter with small silk flowers.
